Before founding Destiny Digital, our founder Paul Greeff built a career on understanding exactly what makes a business succeed.
The Inefficiency of the Digital Market
My journey into digital architecture didn’t begin in a design studio; it began in corporate finance. As a former Corporate Financial Analyst and Business Development Director with 30 years of corporate experience, I view business through a singular lens: Return on Investment (ROI).
When I helped my wife launch her business, The Cat Hotel, I hired a standard agency to build our website. I quickly realized a stark reality that thousands of South African business owners face every day: Most “web designers” only know how to make things look pretty. They have little understanding of business strategy, lead acquisition, or database architecture. They sell digital brochures, not digital assets.
Engineering a Better System
Frustrated by the lack of strategic rigor in the market, I took over the digital infrastructure myself. I applied corporate financial principles to our digital footprint, ruthlessly optimizing for search visibility, automated workflows, and conversion rates. The result? The Cat Hotel scaled into a dominant local business, fueled by the high-performance digital engine I built (and word-of-mouth).
